Day 1: Arrival in Guiyang

Arrive in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province, known for its lush landscapes, rich ethnic culture, and pleasant climate. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check into your hotel and unwind, preparing for the exciting journey ahead through Guizhou’s breathtaking landscapes and cultural treasures.

Day 2: Guiyang – Huangguoshu

Embark on an unforgettable journey to Huangguoshu Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Asia and one of China’s top 5A scenic areas. 

After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area, where you will enjoy VIP access, including the scenic area’s VIP shuttle and a round-trip elevator ride to the main waterfall. With a height of 77.8 meters and a width of 101 meters, this magnificent waterfall is the crown jewel of Guizhou’s karst landscape. One of its unique features is the Water Curtain Cave, a natural cave hidden behind the cascading water, allowing visitors to experience the roaring falls up close. 

Continue your exploration at Doupotang Scenic Area, known for its wide, terraced waterfall, sometimes called the "Millennium Pot" due to its expansive, gentle water flow. This site has been featured in several Chinese films and TV series for its picturesque views and tranquil atmosphere. 

After the tour, proceed to Shitouzhai, a charming stone village near Huangguoshu, where you can experience local Bouyei ethnic culture. Wander through the village’s traditional stone houses and cobblestone streets, learning about the ancient craftsmanship that has been passed down for generations. 

In the evening, settle into your accommodation near Huangguoshu and enjoy a relaxing night in this scenic region.

Day 3: Huangguoshu – Longgong - Huangguoshu

Embark on a journey to the Longgong (Dragon Palace) Scenic Area, a breathtaking 5A-rated attraction known for its karst caves, underground rivers, waterfalls, and lush landscapes. 

After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Dragon Palace, where you will enjoy a boat ride through the mystical underground river, navigating through limestone caverns adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. The caves, stretching over 30 kilometers, resemble a hidden palace beneath the mountains, earning them the name "Dragon Palace". Along the way, visit the Tianchi Waterfall, an ethereal cascade that flows from the caves into a serene lake. Your visit includes a scenic shuttle and a one-way elevator ride, ensuring a comfortable and immersive experience in this natural wonderland. 

After the tour, return to Shitouzhai Jianglu Cunxiao, a Bouyei ethnic village near Huangguoshu. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in Bouyei traditional wax dyeing, a centuries-old handicraft. Learn the intricate process of using beeswax and indigo dyes to create stunning patterns on fabric, a skill passed down through generations. Day 4: Huangguoshu – Banlinghe Bridge – Xingyi

Set off on a journey to witness one of the world's most impressive engineering marvels before immersing yourself in the rich Bouyei ethnic culture. 

After breakfast, drive to Balinghe Bridge, a spectacular suspension bridge spanning the deep Baling River Gorge. Standing at an incredible height of 370 meters, it ranks among the world’s highest bridges and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the rugged karst landscape below. From the viewing platform, marvel at the bridge’s awe-inspiring architecture as it stretches over the valley, connecting the steep cliffs on either side. 

After the tour, continue to Xingyi, the heart of Guizhou’s karst mountain region. In the evening, embark on a night tour of Fenglin Bouyei, a picturesque Bouyei ethnic village nestled amidst towering karst peaks. Take a scenic shuttle ride through the illuminated landscape, where misty mountains and traditional wooden houses create a dreamlike atmosphere. Stroll through the village to experience the Bouyei people’s vibrant culture, sample local specialties, and witness folk performances that bring their heritage to life.

Day 5: Xingyi

After breakfast, drive to Wanfeng Lake, a vast and serene reservoir nestled amidst thousands of karst peaks. Embark on a boat tour, gliding across the crystal-clear waters while taking in the dramatic limestone formations and verdant surroundings. The lake, often referred to as "a pearl hidden in the mountains," offers a peaceful escape and stunning photography opportunities. 

After lunch, continue your journey to Wanfenglin, a 5A-rated scenic area and one of China’s most beautiful peak forests. This spectacular landscape features countless karst peaks rising in harmony, forming a mesmerizing sea of green hills. Explore the area with a scenic shuttle ride, offering panoramic views of the unique terrain. For a closer experience, take part in a cycling adventure, pedaling through the countryside, past rice paddies, traditional villages, and winding mountain paths. 

In the afternoon, unwind with a relaxing afternoon tea in this tranquil setting. Enjoy a choice of coffee, tea, or juice, paired with a delicious slice of cake, while soaking in the stunning views of the surrounding peak forest.

Day 6: Xingyi – Guiyang

After breakfast, drive to Maling River Grand Canyon, a spectacular karst gorge known as the "Scar of the Earth." This natural wonder features steep cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and lush vegetation, creating a stunning backdrop for exploration. Stroll along the Tianxing Gallery, a scenic pathway offering panoramic views of the canyon’s towering rock formations and deep ravines. Take the round-trip scenic elevator for an effortless descent into the canyon, where you can admire the thundering waterfalls and the crystal-clear Maling River winding through the valley. 

After the tour, drive back to Guiyang and visit Jiaxiu Tower, the city’s most famous historical landmark. Built in the Ming Dynasty, this elegant three-story pavilion sits atop Fuyu Bridge on the Nanming River. With its classic Chinese architecture, red pillars, and upturned eaves, Jiaxiu Tower offers a glimpse into Guiyang’s rich cultural heritage. Climb to the top for a stunning view of the city skyline and the peaceful waters below. 

Next, explore Qingyun Market, a vibrant hub where locals gather to shop for handmade crafts, traditional Guizhou snacks, and specialty goods. Wander through the bustling stalls, sample local delicacies, and discover unique souvenirs reflecting the region’s diverse ethnic influences. 

Stay overnight at a downtown Guiyang hotel, enjoying the convenience of the city’s lively nightlife and dining scene.
